Synopsis
Struggling taxi driver Waqar Rana is desperate to find his ideal job. In pursuit of a better life he finds himself in the middle of an organized bank robbery. Things fall apart when one of the robbers fails to follow the original plan and Rana becomes aware of the only option left. In this attempt, everything changes as the mastermind behind the robbery (Irfan Ul Haq) re-enters the situation. Forced to face the unexpected, Rana comes to realize that the journey of vengeance does not always lead to salvation.

The journey of completing Rana Films first movie Journey of Vengeance was full of hardships and struggle. It involved criticism, disappointments, failure, condemnation and trials. However, a paragraph of a few words will never justify the experience and struggle Rana Films had to go through in order to achieve this milestone. But as they say, all’s well that ends well.

The premiere, gratitude &
the success
The film Journey of Vengeance was premiered at Stavanger short film festival in 2009. Later, Rana films held another screening of the film at Stavanger Cinema for the general audience. A humble gratitude to all the people involved from actors to owners of various locations where the film was rehearsed and shot. Without their contribution and permission, Journey of Vengeance would not have been possible to succeed.
Rana Films would also like to thank the organizers of Stavanger short film festival for admitting the film into their scheduled program. This allowed Journey of Vengeance to achieve the exposure it deserved at a professional level.
